JD Jewelers is a private appointment Jewelry salon located in Peachtree Commons Office park behind the new Gold’s Gym off of Peachtree Industrial Boulevard. Our objective is to become a one stop jewelry salon for its clients and the generations to follow.

 

We have been in business since 1996; with the last 3 years in Gwinnett County. We are listed with the Jeweler’s Board of Trade and are proud members of the Gemological Institute of America and the American Gem Trade Association. We choose an office salon instead of a retail store because we feel that this environment allows us to become more personal with our clients. We feel a more intimate knowledge of our clients allows us to better meet their individual tastes and styles.

 

We have assembled a team that stands, firmly on the old fashioned values of truth, integrity, honesty and loyalty, ready to serve and meet all your jewelry desires.

 

The President, Tammy L. Williams, of JD Jewelers is a Graduate Gemologist (G.G.) of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). Her expertise is utilized in the laboratory where it is her responsibility to identify, grade and appraise jewelry. She works closely with insurance companies to assure that their clients have protected their jewelry collection with the necessary documentation. She helps assure that lost or stolen pieces are replaced. She also works with estate representatives to accurately evaluate estates pieces prior to disbursement or auction. She works diligently with the consumer to assure that their personal jewelry collection is documented.

 

Our staff includes a very talented wax carver that can turn any drawing, sketch or description into a wax model. A wax model is how most pieces of the jewelry on today’s market begins. Her attention to detail and almost machine like precision is astounding.

 

Our Master Jeweler is irreplaceable. He is an artist driven by perfection and his expertise is un-match. He not only has the equipment but the expertise to work miracles. He can turn a wax model into a personal treasure. He does it all; basic repair, sizing, stone setting to full and complete manufacturing. He also has expanded his services with the addition of a laser welder. This allows him to save that special costume piece, your eye glasses or your favorite pair of sunglasses.
